NCSY Summer Adult Missions – Frequently Asked Questions

Is airfare and lodging included in the cost?

Israel: For the Israel trip, airfare and lodging is NOT included in the pricing. However, if you need assistance with that, our travel department is happy to provide quotes and options.

Morocco: Lodging, food and programming is included. Airfare is NOT included.

 

We are interested in participating for some days but not all, is that possible?

Israel: YES, we set up the trip with options for day participation, Shabbos & Yom NCSY, or just Sunday tour and Yom NCSY. If you would like a more a la carte selection of days, that is possible.

Morocco: This is an all-inclusive trip. If you need special arrangements, please reach out to us so that we can see if accommodations can be made

 

Is Shabbos included?

Israel: Guests are invited to a Friday night meal with public school teens on TJJ. Shabbos day, guests are encouraged to make their own plans. If a Shabbos meal is needed, we can include guests with the NCSY Kollel meal.

Morocco: Yes, it’s an all-inclusive itinerary

 

I do not have a child on an NCSY program, can I participate in the missions?

Israel: Yes, we welcome past, present, and future parents AND friends of NCSY and the OU.

Can I bring my children?

Israel: Children are not recommended on this trip.

Morocco: Children are not recommended on this trip.

 

Are there scholarships for this trip?

Israel: There are no scholarships for adult missions.

Morocco: There are no scholarships for adult missions.

 

What is the Kashrus level of the trips?

Both trips will maintain a Mehadrin level of Kashrus.

 

Are the trips appropriate for couples or singles?

The trips are geared toward NCSY parents and those traveling as singles or couples are welcome to join.

 

Is Insurance Provided?

No. Because individuals have different needs, Israel Destination, our tour provider for the two trips recommends that participants purchase their own travelers/medical insurance.

 

Do I need a visa to travel to Morocco?

US and Canadian citizens do not require a visa to travel to Morocco. Israeli citizens (not holding other citizenships) do currently require a visa.
